The plot (insofar as I can call it a plot) revolves around a magic school called the Academy of Lorecastle and the people that work for it. The main four are Tilanora "Tillie" Crowmere, a world-weary administrator; Wilbert Foxbard, an esteemed member of the faculty; Bensni Bronzeleaf, Tillie's bright-eyed assistant; and Norx "Hatchet" Hakket, an external contractor for field work. It's mostly a character-focused slice-of-life, which is what I would say if I had anything written down beyond a couple of outlines. But I'm looking to write more this year, so maybe I will have some stuff to show off soonish.

Year 1305 of the Draisian Era. This age is a volatile one, that which always seems to be on the cusp of drastic change.
This project is more or less just an excuse for me to go absolutely hogwild with some good old fantasy worldbuilding, and while I'm at it I can have fun inventing some uniquely pathetic wizards.
It's centered around the Academy of Lorecastle, one of the most prestigious academies in the Greater Lorecastle Region. It's the oldest known academy standing, where some of the greatest wizards have studied, and the single deepest well of magic and history in all of Draisia. Still, even the most extravagant academy has to have people doing quiet but important work behind the scenes. This is the job of one Adminstrator Tilanora Crowmere.
Working at the Academy alongside her are Wizard Wilbert Foxbard, a proud human-elf hybrid from a rival House; Bensni Bronzeleaf, a bright-eyed new adult gnome-orc hybrid; and Norx "Hatchet" Hakket, a weathered ex-adventurer goblin. They make an odd bunch as colleagues, but no more odd than Lorecastle as a whole.
On the whole, there's not too much in the way of a plot planned. I'm picturing it as a series of short stories that happen in the same world, whether they're focused on the Academy staff in general, or on one of them in particular, or even on other side characters outside the Academy.
