In my junior year of high school, I took a web design class because it was a prerequisite for game design. I never did take that game design class, but I did find out that I really like using HTML. In the second semester, the web design class switched to using Wix instead of HTML, which was super disappointing to me. For a while, I was without a place where I could build my funny web pages.
I first created The Chavez Zone in December of 2023, when I discovered Neocities. I was having a lot of fun, but as time went on I started to get stuck. There were a lot of unfinished pages gathering digital dust, updates were sparse outside of blog posts, and I was generally unhappy with how the site was turning out. I left it alone for a few months, and now I'm back to work on it again.
I wanna learn some new tricks and have more fun, generally. I'd also like this site to be a place where I can display my creative work, like my art and my writing and my original characters.
