Endling is a middle grade book trilogy written by Katherine Applegate. It's about our point of view character, Byx, going on a journey in order to find out if she truly is the last of her species.

That's the quick explanation, but there's more for me to say about it. Way more.

I love that it includes a map of Nedarra and some illustrations throughout the book. Those are always delightful to have.

I also love the quote and definition of endling it opens on before we hear any of the story. What a way to set the tone, right?
