here we are, folks. 2025 is upon us tonight.
website updates have been sparse because i've been focusing my attention elsewhere; i've been working on a biiiig Year in Review sort of thing. it'll be put up on this blog when I'm done with it. i had this half-serious deadline set for myself that it'd be done by tonight, but it doesn't look like that'll pan out. i got distracted coming up with outlines for no less than three new project ideas, so that ate up a bit more time than would've been ideal. i've got a pretty good first draft down, though. with a bit of discipline, i'll probably be able to get it out within the first week or two of january.
i'll save all the talk about the upcoming year for the actual Year in Review. i won't spoil nothing, but i think it'll be an interesting read. at the minute i'm waiting for some relatives to arrive for usual New Year's Eve festivities.
